European Fly Hire

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

The previous two years for MotorhomesUK have been two of the most strenuous and rewarding for us. Considering we have such a great coverage of hire vehicles in the UK and we are one of the very few family-run businesses left in the vehicle hire sector we have covered a lot of ground.

We are as excited and committed as ever about our 2010 summer season and have an even bigger reason to be excited about the future. MotorhomesUK are pleased to announce we are now able to supply vehicles for hire throughout Europe. It’s a great idea and it came to us in a ‘flash of inspiration!’

It has become clear after hiring UK based motorhomes for travel in Europe that not every hirer wants to drive to Dover, get on a ferry and begin the long journey to France or Spain or Germany – it’s a jolly long way and a lot of driving! So why not get on a low cost flight from a regional airport, land in a European country and pick up a left hand drive vehicle at a local depot? Why not?

This is such a great idea if you are thinking of doing the whole European camping thing, it’s easy and convenient and with local flights at low fares and brand new motorhomes for pick ups at depots such as Paris, Napoli, Malaga and Lisbon you can really get to enjoy Europe at its best, easily and conveniently.

With the launch of this new and exciting concept of fly-hire, motorhoming abroad has just become accessible and convenient for all our British hirers.

We have launched our new revolutionary European fly-hire section on our website, so look out for some imaginative motorhoming destinations on there and enjoy booking your European motorhome adventure safely and securely with a UK based company operated and regulated in the UK.

Searching for Keith

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Around two weeks ago we had a email from the ‘Searching for Keith’ appeal to ask if we could provide a motorhome for their appeal. Keith Bennett who was a victim of the moors murderers, Ian Brady and Myra Hindley Johnson, went missing 46 years ago and his Mum is still trying to find him. It is a heart rending and upsetting appeal and for all these years Winnie (Keith’s Mum) and her family and friends have been searching for Keith. The police pulled out of the seach in July last year and Winnie and her friend Norie Miles started up the Appeal (The Keith Bennett Appeal) and have been raising funds for the search and equipment. The search started three weeks ago with a team of Cadavar dogs and Forensic Archeologists, Geophysicists, Geologists, Criminologists who have all offered their time to assist Winnie in finding her son.
A celebrity has come forward and donate £23,000 to the Appeal to buy a GPR (Ground Penertrating Radar)
If Keith is found, the Appeal will carry on helping other family’s, search for their missing children. You can find out more information their website www.searchingforkeith.com
We would like to ask anyone who is reading this if they would like to give any money to this appeal to get in touch with Searching For Keith to donate, even a few pounds can make all the difference to Winnie’s appeal, if everyone donated £1 or £2 maybe Keith can be found and his Mum can have some peace.
