Timberland Freedom A compact van-sized vehicle, easy to drive, perfect for exploring the narrow lanes of Wales or Scotland. Central heating and good insulation and make this a cosy van for all year touring. The backrest of the couch can be raked (as shown) for comfy lounging, or dropped down to make a full double bed. There is a flush WC, and a shower compartment, fed with pressurised hot and cold water. 4 ring hob, grill and oven. Blinds and flyscreens for each window, curtains and silver-screens for the cab. A 230v mains hook-up cable charges the batteries, and powers the microwave oven, and additional electric water heating. For wild camping, the solar panel charges two batteries for lighting and the compressor fridge. Gas is used for cooking and water-heating; and diesel fuels the central heating. A 12v inverter creates a small 230v mains supply for a laptop or phone charger. USB broadband modem connecting to the mobile phone network from £10 extra. Large sliding side door, and electric awning increase the living space, and an optional rear box can be fitted over the normal 2-bike rack. Both driver and passenger seats swivel.
